Everyday we may contribute our understanding to improve our world. In our envisioned enlightened society, promoting harmony, understanding and cooperation may be everyone's mission.

We present viewpoints that reflect a synthesis of ideas presented in the Origins and History of Consciousness and A Treatise on Cosmic Fire. The perspectives of the ageless wisdom and archetypal psychology give great insight into our current state of affairs as a human culture. We see the effects of apparently unseen causes as our known world seems to change before our eyes. How then are we to understand the actual causes of our situation in today's world.

As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so then is, as we sow so shall we reap.

We may choose:

A sense of community, trust, cooperation and co-creation

or

A sense of solitude, fear, mistrust, as we attempt to control and dominate relationships with conflicting interests.

These two constellations of relationship patterns may be described as the archetypes that we may choose to be. How have we gotten to this place in the evolution of human kind will be explored in this article for the Month of March 2009.

The Spiritual Path

This unfolds before all Life as the path of return to our spiritual source and unity. As each spark of life and spirit involved itself within matter, materiality, the path of our origin becomes forgotten. Our desired strivings in the material world occupy our attention until we reach a point of reorientation once again to the spiritual world that sustains us. This is understood as the spiritual path and begins our journey to our source.

The stadial progression of consciousness through four stages illustrates the path to the higher union, the reuniting of the personality with the soul, beginning the reintegration of the feminine, intuition and emotions and a sense of inclusive community.

The Flowering of A Soul’s Consciousness unfolds in this sequence:

1) The emergence of consciousness begins as the Uroboros, life yet undifferentiated from the primal unity in the round. The unborn child in the womb, the being asleep in the oneness of life.

2) Conscious affinity with nature as the Matriarchal consciousness is attuned with the natural cycles of the Sun and Moon. The original unity of humankind, participation mystique, community and nature.

3) The individuated consciousness of the Patriarchal personality, goal directed self interest driving forward. Having separated from the original unity, although not yet united at the reunion with the feminine, the divided mind creating divided solutions. Culminating upon realization of the spiritual path and progressively more relationship and community minded motivations.

4) Reunion of the patriarch with the feminine in the Higher Union. This reintegrates the sense of community and feminine sensitivity into the developed consciousness of the masculine patriarch. This may be considered to be the goal of human conscious evolution at this point in history. The visions of enlightened society are based on this consciousness as the foundation enabling the co creation of the collective vision.

Then where do we go now on this spiritual path? Each is a unique individual, with a unique path. The choice of meditation, study, service, practice, vision quest, ceremonies and philosophical orientation is your choice. Ones higher nature provides as much guidance as each being may be willing to receive. The importance of our relationship with our self and the Self begins to dawn on the emerging consciousness.
